Our latest technology includes emergency warning systems and calling services using voice broadcasting. This is ideally suited for school alert services where students, faculty and parents need to be notified quickly in the event of an emergency.
Emergency alerts can be delivered using a broad range of communication techniques to contact individuals and organizations when an extraordinary event occurs.
This emergency alert can be delivered to a small group of individuals such as the faculty or a specific campus building. Likewise an emergency notification can be sent to an entire campus and to the nearby community.
Absentee students can now be reported immediately to parents or guardians using this emergency contact service and system. This program can be a vital service not only to report absentees to parents, but to quickly notify parents of a missing child.

Our emergency alert services can be accessed using a convenient online registration form that lets you submit your school's information. This includes your school's name, address, billing and contact information. DSC also provides an online contract with terms and conditions and our current pricing. The following are just a few of the benefits of signing up online:

NOTE: Submitting this online registration does not obligate you to this service. DSC provides an online agreement that must first be downloaded, signed and submitted by fax or mail.
Only after this agreement has been received by DSC and a deposit remitted is the account activated.

This offer is only valid for non-profit organizations such as churches, community groups, schools and educational institutions. Typical setup charge of $500 is waived with online registration. The cost to maintain the service is reduced from $50 to $35 per month (includes 24x7 emergency and 800 phone activation). Standard usage rates apply when messages are actually delivered.
Contracts are month-to-month with 30 day cancellation. Usage fees are typically $.15 per number which includes 3 attempts for calls anywhere in the continental limits of the US. For calls outside this region, please refer to our online contract.

The University of Southern Indiana acquired an emergency alert system from Database Systems Corp. to contact students and faculty during an emergency situation. This system can also be used to make special announcements during non-emergency events.

School Alerts and Latchkey Kids
DSC also provides a phone reassurance application called CARE (Call Reassurance) which can be used by communities and schools to call latchkey kids at home after school. This program was developed to ensure the safety of children whose parent(s) are still at work when they return home from school.
