Emergency Alert Systems and Service
Since 1978, Database Systems Corp. (DSC) has been providing computer related products and services to corporations, governments, local communities, and small businesses alike.
DSC has been a leading provider of customized telecommunications software, equipment and integrated solutions. This includes automatic message delivery phone systems and includes our state-of-the-art call center software.
DSC's emergency notification service is a community warning program that delivers phone messages to members of a group, company, or to an entire community using our voice broadcasting technology. Phone messages announce emergencies such as school alerts or can be a warning to a community such as a forest fire evacuation alert.
Many corporations use our emergency alert service to notify employees in the event of a disaster or unplanned event. In some cases, the notification is simply an alert with a phone number to call to obtain further information and detailed instructions and course of action.
Since DSC provides phone equipment as well as emergency alert outsourcing services, we can fulfill your organization's requirements when it requires emergency notification.

CARE (Call Reassurance)
Database Systems Corp. provides a comprehensive telephone reassurance phone system and software that assists communities by automatically calling homebound residents, particularly the elderly, ensuring their well-being. This program is called CARE, or Call Reassurance.
CARE recipients receive a daily call and if our phone system determines that the call is not answered, our CARE program automatically contacts a family member or a responsible community organization such as the police, fire department or sheriff's office. CARE systems incorporate both voice broadcasting and IVR technologies.
Although designed for senior calling, our CARE program can also be used for non-emergency communications.
What Is Emergency Phone Notification
Emergency notification by phone is a variation of voice broadcasting. Voice broadcasting is defined as the following:
Voice broadcasting is a recent communication technique that broadcasts phone messages to hundreds or thousands of call recipients at once. This technology has both commercial and community applications. Companies can contact employees and customers instantaneously. Communities can likewise be contacted by emergency response centers.
Voice broadcast systems manage a database of phone lists as well as digitized phone messages. Using Telephony components, these computers can simultaneously broadcast thousands of phone messages. Personalized information can be included in the phone messages through the integration of Text To Speech software.
Using a large bank of phone lines, emergency messages can be broadcast to thousands of members of a community in a relatively short time period, thus informing large numbers of individuals of an emergency condition.
